Fellowship Position

 Fellowship in Brain and Cognitive Aging

Applications are invited for a fellowship position under the direction of Professor Randy Buckner at Harvard University. The fellow is expected to contribute to research exploring brain and cognitive aging that includes extensive measurement of longitudinal change in brain structure with a focus on understanding brain aging within the individual. Research will involve novel repeat neuroimaging approaches, remote cognitive assessments, and blood-based biomarkers. Work will be conducted within the Harvard Center for Brain Science and involve collaborations with the Massachusetts Alzheimer Disease Research Center (MADRC) as well as through the Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB).

Strong applicants will have:

• Interest in cognitive aging with relevant experience in human research.

• A background in psychology, biology, or neuroscience.

• Experience using statistical approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to complete projects.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Data visualization skills relevant to neuroimaging (HCP Workbench, Matlab, or similar platforms).

The term of the appointment is one year with possible renewal depending on performance and continuation of funding.
