Penghui Du

Visiting Graduate Student

Penghui is a visiting master’s student in the Buckner Lab, supported by the Bertarelli Fellowship. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Neuro-X at EPFL, with a strong interest in precision neuroimaging and non-invasive neuromodulation techniques. He received his BSc in Intelligent Medical Engineering from the Southern University of Science and Technology in 2024, where he worked with Dr. Quanying Liu to analyze the effects of psychotropic drugs on zebrafish brain dynamics. He was also a visiting student at the CANDY Lab (https://jechenlab.com/) at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, collaborating with Dr. Jingyuan Chen on mapping the organization of the human cerebral cortex using functional PET-FDG metabolic connectivity. Penghui plans to pursue a PhD and is eager to contribute to advancements in precision neuroimaging and neuromodulation. When he’s not doing research, you’ll likely find him experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
