Hannah Piccirilli

Hannah is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Eldaief Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital and collaborates with the Buckner Lab at Harvard University. She graduated summa cum laude from Westminster College with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in International Relations with a Modern Language concentration. Her undergraduate honors thesis investigated the Late Positive Potential (LPP) as an ERP associated with the tagging of emotional memories for consolidation. 

After graduation, she joined the Ritchey and Kensinger labs at Boston College as a Laboratory Coordinator, where she worked on a variety of research protocols investigating the factors that influence memory and the neural networks that support it. She continues to be interested in the functional network connectivity which supports higher order cognition, awareness, and conscious experience. She also to explore the ways in which an interdisciplinary approach can be utilized to inform our understanding of these processes, and she plans to pursue these interests through a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience.
