Lin is a visiting Master’s student in the Buckner Lab. He is pursuing a M.Eng. in Computer Science at the State Key Laboratory of Neuroscience at the McGovern Institute at Beijing Normal University, where he works with Dr. Bing Liu. He obtained his B.Eng. in Intelligent Science and Technology. Lin has experience in computational neuroscience research using contrastive deep learning methods, diffusion models, transformer-based frameworks, LLMs, and model-based fMRI. He is interested in investigating whole-brain circuit propagation and function, the functional organization of human visual representations, uncovering the internal architecture and computational mechanisms of the brain’s language system, NeuroAI, and psychiatry. Lin is also an online intern at the Vision and Computational Cognition Group at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences under Prof. Martin Hebart. He is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology or Neuroscience.
